A specialist trade, brought to Suwanee
Darrin Straub started Advanced Stucco Repair in 1999 with the view that a facade problem is almost always a water problem, and that it takes someone who understands the whole wall, from framing and sheathing through flashing, lath or foam and finish, to fix it for good. More than twenty-five years later, that is still how we work.
Suwanee is a good example of why that matters. The city’s commercial and multifamily buildings went up in a relatively short span, many with similar cladding and similar details, and many are now reaching their first major envelope repair. Owners and boards here are often looking at the same questions at the same time: is the EIFS wet, is the sealant done, and should we repair, recoat or both?
We answer those questions with surveys, moisture readings and water tests, then a written scope that separates urgent work from planned work. We do not run a general contracting business or chase every exterior trade. Stucco, EIFS, sealants, flashing and the substrate behind them are what we do, for property managers, HOA and condo boards, owners, asset managers and general contractors.
